The Grand mane units are made to your exact head measurements, proving a

perfectly secure fit for everyone. Our lace closure units are made on a breathable, ventilated cap with an elastic band, added to hold the lace in place as well as a comb in the back (optional). No glue is necessary for any of our units. You have the option to add more wig secruity when placing a custom order. If you are ordering READY-TO-SHIP wigs, be sure to let us know your needs in our note section at checkout.

To ensure the most flat and natural unit application, your hair should be cornrowed. For lace closure units, we recommend parting your hair where you would like the part on the closure to lay and down from there. For frontal units, small straight back cornrows with the ends sewn up and flat are recommended.

Currently we only offer rush orders on our custom units. You can pick that option from while ordering through the custom order form.

Yes, you can still wear our units! If you have a very short haircut (too short for cornrows or for combs to be used) or are bald, please let us know so that we can ensure the unit will fit you flawlessly.

With proper care, The Grand Mane’s lace closure units can last 1-3 years*. Proper care entails minimum heat use, regular wash/conditioning, no rough handling, and minimum sleeping in the unit.

All of our lace closure crowns include a fully customized hairline as well as tinted lace.
